However as generations of comic book readers have grown up to become comic book writers and artists, so they have nurtured new interest in collecting and appreciating the art form of the comic book.

Official site for the artist. You can view examples of his artwork here, as well as buy originals and prints. He’s probably best known for his work on DC’s Kingdom Come.
Archie Comics
One of the oldest comic book publishers in business today. They specialize in publishing comic books about the teenager Archie Andrews and his buddies, but they also own their own superhero universe where the premier superhero team is the Crusaders. They also publish the Sonic the Hedgehog comic book.
Bob Rozakis
When I was a kid, Rozakis was the “Answer Man” at DC Comics, which means he wrote answers to questions that readers had. He doesn’t blog much about comics at his blog, but he does occasionally point out something interesting from his days in the industry. He’s also one of my favorites, so I’m including him here.
Byrne Robotics
Official website for artist and writer John Byrne, who rebooted the Superman character in 1986. He’s also well-known for his run as the artist on Uncanny X-Men. And he created Alpha Flight!

Dynamite Entertainment
Publishers of a wide variety of licensed and traditional comic books based on existing characters. Some of their titles include The Shadow, The Bionic Man, and Stargate SG-1. They also publish The Lone Ranger comics.
IDW Publishing
Specializes in publishing licensed works. Their titles include the latest version of Star Trek in the comics, as well as True Blood, Doctor Who, and GI Joe.
The Jack Kirby Museum
Jack “King” Kirby co-created most of Marvel Comics’ most famous characters, including the Fantastic Four and the X-Men. This site is devoted to his memory.
Marvel Comics
Publishers of the Avengers, X-Men, and Spider-man. Like DC, their official site includes sections about the various media in which their characters appear–comic books, movies, TV shows, etc. Marvel Comics is owned by Disney.

A group of role-playing gamers share their adventures as superheroes online. Includes many suggestions for characters and adventures.
Superman thru the Ages
Unique site devoted to the various versions of the character of Superman as he appears in various decades, incarnations, and media. Features several classic Superman comic books that you can read online at their site.
Toonopedia
Huge encyclopedia of articles about comic books and cartoons, as well as about the people and companies who make them. Don Markstein operates this site.
